There we are May is gone and cried like a baby . Stop putting these retarded hacks into power. If you want out .. GO OUT and dont come to bruessels haggling like a fucking carpet merchant in a turkish bazar to get a better deal. You wanted out. Now fucking pay the price. BTW the only reason why that piece of shite farrange and his clique wanted out is to save the money laundering class of rich assholes financing them and of course their own offshore interests and not because of PATRIOTISM. Its pure GREED. And average joe is going to pay for it as always.

It is unfortunate that people seem to think democracy and freedom exist because of the ability to vote, and equally by leaving the EU, there are those who surmise everything will be better. What people never realise is that until a country and even the World get out of the Central Bank system of money issuance, nothing will ever change. It is not the politicians or the Kings and Queens that rule but those who can create deposits with the flick of the pen. One day you will take time to understand this, and when you do, perhaps, you will be clever enough to stop bickering and realize you, us, are nothing more to the system than useful idiots! All these 'experts' and commentators with nothing poignant to say because they neither understand the system and fail to see where true power is held.

The Asian woman seems to be suggesting that because Britain colonised other countries in the past it cannot be "colonised" or have its sovereignty subsumed in the present. Well Britain has seen unprecedented levels of foreign immigration despite opinion polls showing broad public opposition. It is also undeniable that membership of the EU transfers sovereignty away from Britain's historic sources of democratic legitimacy (i.e. Parliament & the Monarchy). She is right to point out that Britain is not being "colonised" in the same way as the past but if we define colonisation as the mass arrival of foreigners + the various ways in which a nation can be subject to the designs of foreign interests then yes the British people are being divorced from institutions of power in this sense.

Here’s the truth - I rather suspect people – including our friends in the EU realise the British humiliation is down to the pampered dandies we have representing us in Parliament. I give it to you now… Have a middle class upbringing – mummy and daddy both have good jobs and can afford to send me to Uni. I’m not really that bright but I’ve left Uni with a degree in something or other – yes I remember now – it was something to do with sports training or religion – anyway I got my degree and I’ve joined our local Political party and started going door to door campaigning. Isn’t it wonderful – I’ll soon be an MP running our Country – I really can’t wait to get started. I accept the fact that I have never really had to work for a living - but I know deep in my heart that I would eventually make a good leader for our Country - because I do follow current affairs and watch the BBC.

The overaged hippie Cambridge professor is what we, in Flanders, would consider a seeing blind. She sees the problem, but fails to internalise/speak out about it. Britain has representative democracy backwards. You need to have parties with clear, unique agendas on certain aspects of public life, proportionally represented in your governing body, then reach a majority consensus by coalition/compromise. Instead you have parties which are coalitions, with differing internal agendas and a majority by a first past the post system. Do you even realise how f'ed up having two major parties with both leavers and remainers in their ranks and a remainer Prime Minister trying to push through a version of Brexit almost nobody in your parliament really wants, looks to people in the rest of Europe, who have 'normal' coalition governments?

what do you guys expect in a world where facts do not have any weight. Its a world of demagogues, its a world of fading education, a reverse time of enlightenment, a time when the incest of aristocracy is replaced by incestuous power elites and this enumeration could go on and on... . For me, as a european, born in Germany its a frightening time. The germans of my generation grew up with the burden of the german original sin, we learnt about the signs that led to the catastrophe, a lot of us fought for understanding in between cultures; and what I do see now in Great Britain and all over the world is a backward feeling (cause its definitely not thinking) that for the first time in my life makes me believe we might have violent times in front of us. And what might be the resolution: EDUCATION

This is what happens when you have a Remainer who has shown her true colours and that she really does not believe in Brexit: How else can you describe May's behaviour? May seemed to want to please everyone else except the Brexit voters who won the vote! May has no shame and still wants to carry on her shameful excesses by carrying on! At least one good thing has come out of this; the dissolution of the two party system in the UK, who were always two faces of the same coin. For the reputation of democracy: we must Brexit as soon as possible. It has also shown that the bulk of our MP's are turncoats and anti-democrats!

More propaganda from the establishment propaganda channel the BBC. I for one will pray that Farage and the BREXIT party hold the keys to power after the next election with the privatisation or closure of the BBC being one of their top priorities. The evil home for the elitist privately educated unemployable's BBC must be stopped now.

Hace un mes
Andy Goldie
Andy Goldie

@Temps Perdu I could not disagree more strongly. The measure of any organization is the people that work for it. How in Gods name can an organization that claims to be balanced and impartial have staffing levels that don't represent the country or its people so so clearly as is the case with the Privately educated un-representative state-controlled machine that is the BBC? The BBC distorts the entire British media by not having to worry its privately educated little head with such base issues such as income as if the peasants don't pay we shall put them in prison. The BREXIT party must make a commitment to privatize or close this vile establishment propaganda machine for privately educated unemployable's as a condition of any coalition.

Hace un mes
Temps Perdu
Temps Perdu

@Andy GoldieAs broadcasters go, I think the BBC does a fairly good job. It's impossible for any broadcaster to be completely neutral all the time, although I think the BBC should strive to be so. It's their responsibility to report the facts and try and maintain a balanced discussion from different voices of the political spectrum, and for the most part, they do this pretty successfully. The problem is, strongly opinionated people's views of the world are often coloured by their own bias, so that reports that reinforce their own prejudices are seen as as 'neutral', while anything that challenges their worldview is 'biased' - thus the BBC faces continual accusations by the right but also even by the left.

Hace un mes

@Temps Perdu So are you proposing we continue with this clearly totally corrupted (bought and paid for) two-party scam we currently have and pay for? Neither you or I know whether Farage is the solution or not. However, anybody with a brain knows the BBC is totally corrupted not even attempting to provide news but preferring to make it. Infested with a fast over-representation of privately educated privileged left wing tossers. Much the same can be said about the senior levels of the civil service, hence the Olly Robins BREXIT currently on offer Theresa May being little more than a useful idiot.

Hace un mes
Temps Perdu
Temps Perdu

@Andy GoldieFarage is not the solution, he's part of the problem, don't you see? I'm all for democracy, just I don't think the Brexit Party is going to help us or has any positive vision for Britain. I actually don't think the American and British models are the best examples of democracy, to be honest. The US electoral college got Trump elected when he lost the popular vote by 3 million votes, while the UK's first-past-the post system means votes for smaller parties very seldom get translated into seats in parliament, even when they have significant popular support.

The ☪ BBC ☭ wrote the book on humiliating Britain so they are the ones to ask, fronted by their pet Marxist historian Mary Beard et al. For example by 1900AD *800,000 Europeans live in India* with a then population of 294 million Indians so eventually Mahatma Gandhi says 'enough is enough' and sends them away, this was considered 'colonialism', in BBC world this is a bad thing. Fast forward to 2019 and around 13% of the British population of around 65-70 million are now immigrants who have a far higher birth rate, by 2007AD, *500,000 Indians were living in London alone.* This however is multiculturalism which in BBC world is a good thing. Little wonder nobody with the ability to think critically higher than a lab rat takes the MSM seriously any more.

As a German citizen, I want the UK out on no-deal even though this will hurt both sides jobswise, but the EU has been becoming more prepared for no-deal so it shouldn't be as bad. We need to reform the EU to make it more competitive innovative climate change migration defense all of that, the UK somehow has never identified with European values I think, they would paralyze the EU and stand in the way of our work and if we can't get an EU special status for leaving members in the sense that you get fewer rights and privileges, that's what should happen, otherwise the Brexit mess is imported in the EU. You have known what would happen all along, and if you didn't, you really have a populism problem, but that's up to you to figure out

Hace un mes
bakersmileyface
bakersmileyface

It's a pretty good view on it. While a no-deal would be devastating, it's something quite honestly most people expect. Not many people are expecting a good deal, while it would be nice to get one. This is why the conservatives are losing a lot of voters as of late, they're messing around too much trying to get a deal that just isn't realistic. Most voters know that a no-deal is going to hit the country hard. They just want to leave the EU. The EU and British culture have never mixed very well. You're right on that. European countries tend to think of each other as a collective. They always have done from the times of the HRE. European countries are more like states under the EU rather than individual countries. Whereas the UK tends to view itself as more of an individual country. As an individual country we think more along the lines of "How can we help others when we ourselves are in this horrible state?" or "We're doing really good right now, why not lend a hand to them?" and the European countries tend to think that it's their responsibility to look after each other. That's something I've noticed. So naturally the European countries developed more of a globalistic mindset that doesn't resonate with the UK. Poland is somewhat similar to the UK as they've had a tough history with all of their neighbours. That's why Polish and British get along pretty well and also give the EU a tough time. But they're also European and share some of these traits that the rest of Europe has. So yeah, I like your mindset. It's very reasonable.

Back then the mafia and the police had the same machine guns and the same cars. Today, the only way a civil war might succeed is if so many people (several million) walk on Westminster that it would be impossible to stop them. And the government's army would be reluctant to kill the hundreds of thousands required to stop them. Or else blood would literally flow in the streets. Don't forget. @Mike Wild Since it's late at night over here, I will share a kind of thought with you. The island of UK was populated by Celtic tribes. It actually was populated by prehistoric peoples but the Celts either killed them or mixed with them. Then came the Romans. And then came the variety of Germanic tribes, first Saxons, then Angles, and then eventually the Normans. So you are a composite of mutually compatible people. But the people coming in these days are not compatible. And they follow a religion that is totally incompatible. Rise and fight these foreigners. Maybe someone will call you racist. So what?

@Mike Wild I absolutely need to correct your grammar. You, British people, think corporations and countries and associations are to be thought of as a group of people. No. You invented the concept of a corporation as an "it." It is a sole entity. You cannot say IBM "have" invented something. IBM is an "it." It has invented something. Yes, it is comprised of a group of people. But at all times it is a legal sole entity. Now what have you got to say, cowboy.

@Mike Wild Well we agree on a lot of things. England isn't gone yet. If it gets a national identity again, I would put it up against Germany any day. Why are you not sleeping? America would help you. But Trump knows that politically it is not wise. He is actually a lot smarter than people give him credit for. He just talks the language of the common man. England still has a chance to save itself. Sweden is totally beyond repair. Too early to tell about Germany. Big question marks about France and the Benelux countries. Farage is the best hope right now. If Brexit succeeds, then there is hope for Europe yet.

The only reason why Brexit will fail is because the pro-EU puppet politicians will make it fail and destroy the British economy intentionally by creating bad policies or no policies on trade and then try to blame it all on Brexit to make it look bad. They have no respect for the sovereignty of the people, just their EU overlords.

Brexit itself isn't the embarrassment. The horrific handling of it by May and Remainer politicians is the disgrace.

It is a ritualistic necessity to humiliate the national citizenry of the UK so that by violating their sovereign demand for political accountability they can be assimilated to the treaty foisted mimicry of 'EU citizens'-that is, due no accountability at all by the executive powers of the EU who themselves are but proxies for dominant national and corporate interests. The EU's future is already lexically determined since 'Empire' is a synonym for the failure of the blind leading the forseeing.
