Breaking News that the Cowboys just traded for Amari Cooper. And I love it
we shell see a different team now, if not coaches must go.including QB coach.
11 in the box
As a Raider fan, I must say Cooper can play. He is worth a 1st round draft pick. The problem is our QB refused to play his position as if Cooper was his number 1 wideout as Aaron Rodgers did with Jordy Nelson and Russell Wilson has done with Doug Baldwin. If Prescott moves in the pocket on the same side as Cooper and allow him to work his way open the Cowboys will be extremely difficult to stop on offense. Cooper never played with an elite RB. He now has Zeke in the same backfield. The Cowboys will no longer have to worry about Zeke getting a stacked line after Cooper burns them for a few TD's. Teams will test the connection between Coop and Dak. Dak must throw many targets towards to Coop. He is a rhythm Wideout hence the reason he struggled at times with the Raiders. If you allow him to get at least 11 targets a game he will get your team 100 yards or more every game. He is that good.
Dude can run routes but drops passes that literally hit him in the face. Thanks for the 1st round pick.
I agree i love this.People said what bout earl thomas, well think he will be free agent after this season.Amari is wayyy better route runner than dez so cowboys fans relax.I see a huge difference coming plus opening the running game for zeke.
I can see already we're going to the finals I can smell it yeah Cowboys Nation forever
It took a while for Tony as good as he was to get a chemistry going with all the talent he had,and he was a baller and took lots of risks and chances to be as good as he was. So calm yalls titties down and quit with the anointing oil of Cooper even tho he is a great talent, and get with reality with the expectations for reals man.
And he doesn't have the strongest arm neither which I think DBs don't respect his arm strength and getting the ball there.
This will only expose dak in his abilities honestly let's be real man. There's nothin wrong with the receiver's we got now, they all got talent. It's that if you look at film, dak misses alot of reads when his first option is shut down. There's alot of times where he fails to dump it off to Elliott or whoever is in his runner and he takes a sack. Now I think Dak can throw it,if he has an open guy yes,but he doesn't know how to make them decisions when his 1 or 2 reads are shut down he can't scan the field when it's a pressure situation.
IF Dak gets the time. Roy W Joey G...don't let the past guide you people. Dallas just decided to move their draft up and start using their pick NOW. I respect the fact, and also a little surprised, the Cowboys decided to try and win NOW, not put WR on their list of needs for next years draft!! No good WRs are in the upcoming draft anyway. And we don't have a couple of years to give for the WR to get acclimated to the NFL. Cooper is already acclimated to the NFL...2x Pro Bowler, he's smart, fast, can get separation, only 24 yrs old, and is ready NOW! LOVE THE PICK...He is our #1 pick in the our draft...smart!!
Too bad your QB sucks and coop will be wasted in Dallas just like he was in Oakland
Dallas isnt a contender but hopefully they can keep building the team.
4.36 for Cooper.
I fuck wit you! You should have more subs. I really wanna meet your plug.
ridley would have atleast 10 tds already with julio, thomas, or beckam target volume. 1td every 6 targets. best of luck to cooper. glad we got him.
without having watched the video yet... I am going to disagree and you might(probably not) change my mind once I watch it. My concern is that Amari Cooper drops the ball more than Dez ever did and he doesn't have the same physicality. Dak doesn't throw the ball consistently accurate and his placement is all over the place. And while Amari Cooper runs good routes and gets good separation, it still might not be enough for Dak to feel comfortable throwing the ball to him. He has also been MISSING WIDE OPEN RECEIVERS on a consistent basis. Now that the Cowboys have given up a FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK which is far too fucking much considering how well they've been drafting, Dak pretty much has to FORCE him the ball otherwise, what good is he going to do here? Wasn't the a big knock on Dez that Dak had to force him the ball? Plus the Cowboys are now on the hook for his contract. So we gave up a 1st rounder for a guy who might only be on this team for a year and a half before another contract is due? what a waste! And are Linehan and Garrett going to magically run better plays to get the ball to Cooper, who will only have TWO WEEKS of practicing with Dak? If so, why the hell didn't they do this with all of their other 23 receivers on the team? I just feel like Wide Receiver was FAR down on the list of things that needed to be fixed and while I feel like Amari Cooper is a talented guy, he isn't going to fix the rest of the issues that this team has.
2x pro bowler and young reason dallas got him plus they wanted ridley they went n found him added austin along with hurns an Gallup this unit will be a threat with Beasley plus rico an swaim with Zeke he can stretch the field man watch this new look we stole cooper from eagles an Redskins they were offering a 2nd that's why jerry jumped
Good video. The best thing is we kept Cooper from getting to Philly.
I am going to call it now! If Dak doesn't work out by the end of the season, Gerry will go after Carr as well!
Doubt it Peter! Carr has lost his confidence
Both teams win , win win situation
I'm sure your the same guy that bought the winning lotto ticket, Cooper has dropped more pasesses than any wideout in the NFL!
Dam, this fool looks funny as shit!
I wish the cowboys had kept Ryan Switzer
Spike's in Hell, Spike's in PeeWee Hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love to trade exactly what we needed and he's a proven receiver
The Cowboys trading for Amari Cooper makes the Cowboys offensive unit more dangerous and Dak will make happen.. Dak and Amari Cooper is great move by the Cowboys.. SB LIII
The Cowboys receivers are now the, one of the three in the NFL with this move
Michael Gallup is fast, Donte Thompson and Cole Beasley is fast
POSITIVES: Amari Cooper. Still very young, big body and has produced in this league on a pro bowl level not once but 2wice with a then good raiders team.. production dipped when they started tearing the team apart starting w Crabtree. Very good route runner, smooth and nuanced route running. Sudden. Gets himself in good position to make the catch. Good at YAC. It doesn't look like he's got blazing speed until he runs right by you.. his speed is deceptive. He seems humble which is a great trait to have while the reporter's will just question his passion for the game based on his personality, which is unfair. Stays healthy. NEGATIVES: Drops balls. Sometimes has inconsistencies week in week out.
Coop injured most of last year, wants 14million next year, just got a.concusion against Seattle.
Dallas cap is more than alright. 70 million under next year.
lol keep dreaming
I agree 100% sir we needed speed at the WR position and the fact that his RAC is incredible hell yeah go Cowboy's hollaaaa at me playa lol
Foots the only way I see cooper coming in here and making this all work is if our O-line gets fixed u got Dak missing reads taking to long to throw the ball and the line ain't holding up Dak got 3,4 seconds tops to get that ball off remember the 16 season when Dak had time to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the pocket damnnnnnn wtf happened Foots what!!!!!!! 33 yards rushing ru kiddn me sometimes I hate i luv them so much but I'm down Foots 16-0 or 0-16 foots when Dak came in that and started when Romo got hurt we went what 11-1 before we lost a game I damn near cried I was so happy I was like this cat is ballin we bout to win a superbowl I knew it Foots 100% WTF happened!!!!!!!!
Jon Gruden emails Jay Gruden: .....Thank me later.
I agree with you Big bro
Philly and Washington made 2nd round offers so we snatched him up.
If QB can’t deliver what’s the point don’t matter how good of a route runner blah blah
Your right on Foots- where ever cooper lines up , the defense has to adjust to a 2 time pro bowler ! As far as the first round pick goes , a draft pick is all speculation , and unproven. Has not played a down in the NFL - but a veteran two time pro bowl player at age 24- !!! I would make that trade 100 times out of 100- Great trade !!! He will make a big difference because of the threat down field ! When we Get Austin back paired with Cooper , Beasley , Galloway - and Zeke in an empty back field line up will get an immediate TIME OUT ! While they try to figure out who’s going to cover who ,!!! Some poor linebacker is in deep shit if he’s left with Elliott
Amari true speed was 4.33 at the combine. Look at simulation race with Julio Jones.
If we can forgive Coops drops why can't we forgive Dez?????
NO SHIT! Dez did WAY more for this team than Amari Cooper will do and he got the boot while he's still collecting a check. Now we have to pay Dez to do nothing for us and Amari Cooper is due a new contract after next season. what a waste
Dude. If we brought Dez back with Coop. 🙌
Reason #6: Its a first round pick for next season. Even if he isn't great this year, he'll be building chemistry with Dak and our offense for next year.
I agree with u bro Zeke will be able to run the ball and that's when the play fakes to Amari Cooper gets the boys some down the field plays. Takes the focus off Cole Beasley once Amari is out there going off
Cooper is a great route runner and will open up the gates for Zeke...
Dec 15, 2017 - By Levi Damien@LeviDamien Dec 15, 2017, 8:33am PST ... The worst culprit is Amari Cooper who had 7 drops in the first four games and 10 drops by midseason, which still leads the league. Since then he's seen just 17 passes with 8 catches and no drops, and may not see .... Sports data © STATS 2018. Just like Tavon Austin was supposed to be the answer despite having only 5 receiving TDs his entire career, Amari Cooper is a bad trade for Dallas but a great one for Oakland. Gruden is building something out there with 5 number 1 picks over the next two years and who knows how many number 2 he'll get after this 2 and 14 season.
It was a great trade....for Oakland. Does he really run a 4.42 now or was that "out of college". It doesn't matter with Dak's arm and field awareness being what it is.
Cooper is better than anything we have now great trade 👍👍👍👍
I honestly can say I love this pick up to all fake fans keep complaining I'm going to keep cheering "GO COWBOYS"
He should get number 88
That picture going around is trash..
Well see what scott can do foots no excuse now
I'm telling ya coop gonna shine with yall carr was the problem n oakland.coop stay getting open to be honest Jalen Ramsey said cooper is the hardest reciever he guarded..he was open plenty of times Carr jus didnt throw it..n plus the drops is because cooper had no rhythm with carr
I would have liked somebody more clutch and battle proven.
People aren’t mad about cooper, but the cost. We’ll see.
Roy williams all over again
Foots Dak needs time to get him the ball so the long passes might not happen but the Cowboys usually bomb out after the first round so I still out on the trade
Did Scott Linehan coach in Detroit when he had that big receiver Megatron I believe I'm not saying he's Megatron but maybe Linehan can come up with a couple creative plays for Cooper
I don't understand why Dakota is being blamed for crap play calling
Fire the OC
6 reason why it’s terrible! 1. Lack of concentration (drops). 2. Bad route running. 3. Lack of passion for the game. 4. We lost a 1st round pick for the above attributes. 5. Amari is not the missing piece to complete the team, which has many problems.
he is now on a team with a worse QB then he had in OAK he drops balls left and right not to mention how that roy williams trade went for us lol also look at the QBs the rookies WRs got to throw to them DJ chark has bortles DJ moore has cam courtland sutton has keenum and hes 3# wr there kirk had bradford and rosen if a pass heavy team with a good QB had one of this WRs that would ben a different story
I like the trade cowboys fans was mad when there was no one number receiver now they trade for way everybody mad shit stupid. Dak zeke and cooper baby I fw it
I love the trade!!! We got Cooper, Gallup, Beasley and Swaim!!!
Your on point Foots, this will keep defenses honest helping run game and at least Dak now has a #1. If we were gonna take WR next draft it takes too long to develop, Cooper is young and ALREADY been to 2 pro bowls.
I agree foots im tired of Allen hurn s. He can not catch the ball across the middle gallup cam and will. Gallup is our tough receiver.
Amari is not gonna make Dak any better smh, I don't why know fans keep thinking another WR is gonna help when our QB is not very good, but I guess fans need to see Dak struggle more with another WR, I wonder how long Cooper and Dak gonna take to develop chemistry cuz lord knows Dak needs everybody else to be perfect for him to look good
Agreed. It changes the dynamic of this offense. D's are not respecting anyone except Cole and its obvious.
Kept Dez and his tweets quiet
Real quick...who doesnt make Jalen mills look stupid? Ok I'm going back to work lololol. I still dont agree with the trade though. Oh fyi...scheme, scheme, scheme, scheme. They're still gonna tee off on Zeke until dak proves he can throw for 325 3td's until then, we still ain't winning shit
Thanks for the 1st rd cowboys lol
Tell them bro I think amari Cooper was a good trade we need a outside receiver
1st time watching. Good analysis CNTv. You brought clarity to my doubt.
Listen giving away a 1st round pick for Amari Cooper is not that bad considering the upcoming draft has a weak or no receiver that are worth a 1st round pick. The free agent market this offseason is what Hogan, Tate, etc. We got a guy that is a number 1 and is only 24. He is our 1st round pick we are getting now. Cooper will ball out.
I have 2 reasons it won't work, Linehan and Kellen Moore 😎
Cooper isnt the issue ...it was a great trade for dallas but my concern isnt cooper its dakk prescott and his dismal passing ability...we will be lucky if Prescott can get him the ball
What up e2bLu Jkn I know it's you FOOTS......hahahahaha hahahaha👀
Foots, you make a valid point on the coverage. Look at what happened Sunday on Gallup's TD. They loaded the box and and he burned them with the man coverage. Cooper will dictate how defenses line up across from us. That was a big reason we regressed last year. Dez wasnt drawing any coverage, he was being single covered and the run game suffered.
I've been hearing hella Cowboys Fans comparing this trade to Roy Williams trade?? We gave the Lions two 1st round picks a 3rd and a 6th! Amari is a totally different player then Roy Williams was! I think we came out good wit this trade forealz! #WeDemBoyz Keep spittn real Facts bruh real talk!
1st rounder is pretty steep price to pay. We have been picking great in the late 1st round for years so I have faith in Will McClay's drafting skills for sure ! That being said we really do need a #1 guy right now. Amari Cooper is pretty good but it may not show as much in this offense but I'll bet it frees up Zeke for better games. Hopefully we all are celebrating this trade soon.
That play vs Mills was the ONLY play he made the ENTIRE game.
+Cowboys Nation TV that makes it worse. He has 280 on the year and if 100 plus of those came in one game that means he has only about 180 in the other 5 or 6 games he's played.
He had an 100 yard game this year... Our WR haven’t sniffed 100
A 1st for Cooper is not smart
not for first round pick. we now expect himto get us to playoffs or its a bust. and then dont have first round pick
How many first round picks are even in the nfl after 4 years ? Ill tell you 34% ...thats why this trade was brilliant ...he is a sure thing regardless of the playoffs
The East isn’t good... now defenses have to consider more things when they play us
Only thing im concerned with is signing who we need to in the offseason after this deal
Can we trade for some refs.
I agree with you Foots. It's a good Football trade. It needed to be done. Dak showed me that he was willing to lay his body on the line despite going under concussion protocol. That takes gut to do
Dak got to hit the 1on1foots when he see 👀 it foots, he holds that ball to long foots he has to be more quick in his release and decision making. Romo even pointed that out in the Washington game when he had Cole Beasley wide OPEN and went somewhere eles Dak have to learn how to READ DEFFS and recognize corverges when he comes to the line.
Daq is great, just give him sometime, when he was drafted Jerry basically hinted towards that he didnt want him, and drafted Mike White... Then we cant keep lining Zeke up as WR
All of the above sir. Big facts on that. David Carr is a shell of himself and playing in Oakland is no fun for any dedicated football player. Too many facts to state as to why how good it's going to be for the team going forward but I give you one from the mental aspect of it...Amari being a Miami guy a la Micheal Irvin loves the big stage. Main reason why he balled the fucc out at Bama. 125 catches and over 1700 yards adding 16 tds with that in the SEC is obviously something special. We all know there is no bigger stage in the NFL than playing for the Dallas Cowboys. Weather you love or hate them they always top draw every season point blank period. Amari Cooper will shine when the lights come on. Just watch.
Yah look at it this way, what if he gets this offense rolling earlier and faster in games! If he helps Dak get rolling and get the ball out on time! Also if our defense most games are holding teams to 16 or less we should be winning right. So if we have an offense that our defense isn't having to carry, and an offense that is putting up more yards and points more consistently, and have more time of possession cause they are moving the ball, the defense may be able to hold teams to even less and get a turnover or two more consistently. We really aren't losing these games by that much these have all been winnable games. If we were getting rolling earlier and faster I honestly think we would have beat like 2 or 3 of these teams we have lost to so far. Like Redskins, Texans games at the very least. I mean that would have put us at what like 5-2 right now and 1st in NFC East. I think moving forward this could be bigger than everyone realizes! Plus what receivers are to be had in the 1st round or the last 5 years like I think you had also mentioned! What is there like a slot receiver out of Ole Miss that will be first rounder we need an X receiver anyway! Maybe Sanjay Lal also helps him with his issue of dropped balls! Yah I noticed goin and watching this guy for a while he has speed and route running ability. Also you notice he is shifty and has good moves like in his route he will give you a step and a move and give himself more separation even. He also goes and high points the ball. If we can clean up the dropped balls man Lol! Also look at if he can probably help Beasley, Gallup, Austin, Hurns, Rico, Swaim, and some of these other players open! I saw a lot of positive things when I watched him. Wow I didn't realize when you said he is only 24. He also was a probowler I heard right Lol and if that's with him having dropped balls man. Also he can get Zeke goin cause I said right after the Panthers game in week 1, all these teams are gonna do is bring these 8 and 9 man fronts and slow Zeke down and force Dak to throw! It's what I would do!
5:16 I do like that we got Cooper, but, that was the exact reason I'd keep the 1st-round pick. Get an O-lineman or a true NT. Not to mention, giving away a 1-round pick to a clearly rebuilding Oakland that is stockpiling 1st-round picks? Even if they all sucked down the line, I still wouldn't do it.
we got rid of Dez because he kept dropping the ball, Cooper was worse about dropping the ball, I don’t think that’s worth a first round pick in my opinion
First things first, the cowboys aren't better than the Redskins. That was proven in four quarters. Second thing,we have seen this movie before. Amari Cooper drops more balls than he catches. Plus Dak Prescott isn't the QB of future. I just wish cowboy fans would take off their blinders.
I like the trade as well I think both teams benefit. Plus we can grab a Safety in round 2. in the draft next year no big deal
I just hope that Cooper plays better for the Cowboys than he did for the Raiders. Hope he gets 10 tds and 1155 yards this year. Good luck Amari Cooper. Welcome to America Team, Amari Cooper!!!!!!! Oh first time listener to your channel. Found it by accident. Glad I did.
for future reference it's....... COOOOOOP!
Dak is the problem, and I feel that Amari is going to expose Dak, because he isn't accurate down field and also he doesn't score touchdowns, even if he had Julio Jones and Antonio Brown they will look like Practice Squad Wide Receivers with Dak as a Quarterback. Proof: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&season=2018&seasonType=REG&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-p=1&conference=null&statisticCategory=PASSING&d-447263-s=PASSING_TOUCHDOWNS
Start #CooperRush Rush is better Quarterback than Dak, with read, release, pocket presence, better delivery with passes, more consistent, scores more touchdowns, and less mistakes with poise in the pocket under pressure and that was with Chaz Green Starting. #StartRush
